Far too many people accept the belief that once you are over 40 or 50 years old, that you are over the hill. Whereas, it is true that you will not have your youthful figure, vitality, looks, and body, but in reality your age bears no relation to which decade is the best of your life. Many people don't realize this but some of the greatest successes have been achieved by those over 50.
Did you know that Ray Kroc was 55 before he ever started to franchise McDonald's? Did you know that Colonel Sanders was 70 years old before he got his first deal to license his chicken recipe? The Golden Years, truly are Golden, and the best is yet to come. Likewise, we often tell our youth that they are too young, that they don't have enough experience, or that they have to wait their turn to succeed. This is pure poppycock.
The reality is you can do whatever you set out to do no matter what age you are. Of course, you must believe that to achieve it. No one can tell "you" that you can't do something against your will. If you choose to believe them, you are right, if you choose to defy them and go for it anyway, and give it 100% of your efforts, drive, and perseverance chances are you will succeed in spite of what everyone else says.
Over the years I've had many people tell me I couldn't do this, that, or the other thing, as I'm sure you have. Fortunately, I always had the tenacity to prove them all wrong. And I'd like to see you do the same because the best is still yet to come; and the time to start is now.
